ASK ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

It is recommended to load and transport sheet metal in factory packaging. For the time of transport, the packages and loose sheets should be secured against moving. When loading and unloading single sheets, do not move one sheet after the other. This way you will avoid mechanical damage. Packages of sheet metal should be stored in dry and well-ventilated rooms. The minimum distance from the floor is 20 cm. Maximum storage height: three layers (packages one on top of the other), separated using laths.

  1. The material should be stored in the form in which it was delivered, in dry and well-ventilated rooms secured against sudden temperature changes. Minimum recommended distance of packages from the floor: 200 mm. This particularly applies tohot-dipgalvanized products.
  2. Rapid changes in temperature and air humidity may lead to the condensation of water vapor which can cause white corrosion stains.
  3. For transport by truck, the carrier should secure the material against wetting and damage.
  4. In the event of wetting and the appearance of stains during transport, the material must be dried before storage (this particularly applies to galvanized sheet metal).
  5. Coated sheet metal with film must be laid on the roof prior to expiration of the 1st month counting from the purchase date. Immediately after installation on the roof, the film must be removed.
  6. If painted sheet metal with protective film is to be stored for an extended period of time, the protective film must be removed and the sheet metal must be laid in a dry and well-ventilated place. If the sheet metal is wet, it must be dried. Also, the film must be removed and the sheets must be separated from one another using spacers. It must be stored in dry and well-ventilated rooms.
  7. Be extra careful when manually loading and unloading single sheets of painted sheet metal. Above all, you shouold avoid moving (sliding) the sheets in order not to scratch the surface coating. During manual unloading, there should be an appropriate number of people for the length of the sheet metal so that it is not bent or stretched when being handled.
  8. Under no circumstances can sheet metal be cut using tools that have a thermal effect e.g. angle grinders, etc.
  9. Subjecting products with protective film to sunlight and moisture may result in damaging the paint coats (bubbles forming on the surface) and then its peeling away together with the film.
  10. Sheet metal surface damage caused by moisture will be the basis for dismissal of any complaints made.
